At Healing Hearts Farmstead, we are committed to giving back by donating 100% of the profits from our lavender products to organizations that rescue and restore women and children from human trafficking.
We’re Nancy and Roger Little. During the pandemic, we fulfilled a long-held dream of moving to the country, purchasing 12 acres to start our new rural life. Roger’s first project was building a chicken coop! With 6 acres of land to put to use, we wanted to do more than just mow it. After some encouragement to try growing lavender, we researched, tested the soil, and planted 500 lavender plants in the Spring of 2022.
The plants flourished, and by Spring 2023, we expanded with 1,000 more. Along the way, we added a few lambs and goats, a Great Pyrenees named Millie to guard them, and a thriving vegetable garden.
Guided by divine inspiration, we discovered a higher purpose for our lavender farm: using the profits from our products to support the rescue and restoration of human trafficking victims.
We invite you to follow our journey as we share our successes, challenges, hopes, and prayers in the fight to end human trafficking.
